Fueled by an electric homecoming atmosphere and a packed student section, the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs girls' varsity volleyball team delivered a stellar performance on their home court, defeating the Tempe Prep Knights 3-1 in an unforgettable match. From the opening serve, the Stang Gang provided an undeniable home-court advantage, keeping the gym buzzing with chants and unwavering support as the Mustangs controlled the tempo of the contest.

Rancho Solano set the tone early with precise setter play and explosive power at the net. The Mustangs' offense ran through a dynamic distribution tandem, led by Savvy Heffner with 55 assists and Amaya Sugidono with 40 assists. At the net, Allie Brooks put on a clinic, leading the attack with 8 kills on a impressive .467 hitting percentage. Sage Skinner provided crucial frontline efficiency as well, converting 6 kills on 9 swings for a team-high .556 hitting percentage, while Lila Burke contributed 3 kills to round out a multi-faceted offensive attack that produced 32 total team kills.

The Mustangs were equally relentless from the baseline, racking up 22 service aces throughout the four sets. Allie Brooks spearheaded the service game with a dominant performance, collecting 7 aces on 18 serves. On defense, Rancho Solano kept rallies alive through disciplined back-row hustle, accumulating 32 team digs. Olivia Novac anchored the defensive efforts with 13 digs, closely supported by Lydia Toeller with 6 digs and Savvy Heffner with 5.
